Oppourtunities At "Run Thru the Woods" This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is the season of being thanful and being selfless.

Thanksgiving opens many doors to give back to your communities.

One event that has been going on for the last 30+ years south of Huntsville is the Run Thru The Woods in The Woodlands, TX. In this event, the community runs/walks for a cause where volunteering and spreading the message is neccesary.

With most of Sam Houston State University students going home for thanksgiving, it gives the oppourtunity for CAM students to involve their studies to an event near their hometown.

Which can be implemented in many ways. Some of the ways to practice your studies can be shown from creating a news broadcast, to singing/dancing at the event, or even something as simple as getting volunteer hours.

While many college students take the week off during Thanksgiving to reset, this time also gives the oppourtunity to use your new findings and put them in a good use.
